People, Inspection and Equipment
Producing high quality mechanical parts requires an excellent team and the right tools. We have an experienced team of quality control specialists who are responsible for the overall supervision and verification of part quality.
Inspection Processes:
- Raw material inspection: to ensure that the supply chain meets standards.
- Process Inspection: Identify problems in a timely manner to avoid late production pitfalls.
- Final Inspection: Ensure that the ex-factory parts meet the high standards of our customers.
To ensure the accuracy of inspection, we use a range of advanced equipment such as height gauges, 2D projectors, tool microscopes, micrometers and coordinate measuring machines. We are equipped with high quality imported and domestic equipment to ensure accurate delivery of orders.
FAQ
Do you have a minimum order?
No! There is no minimum quantity! We offer production machining services for rapid prototyping and short to medium runs.
What general tolerances can you machine to?
General CNC machining tolerances on metals will be +/-0.005” (+/-0.127mm) unless otherwise specified.
CNC plastics and composites will be +/-0.010” (+/-0.254mm).
What types of design files are acceptable for referencing during machining?
For 3D drawings, we prefer step, IGES, or X_T format.
For 2D drawings, we prefer to have the tolerances in pdf format, if possible.
What is investment casting process?
Investment casting is a manufacturing process where liquid material is poured into a ceramic mold shaped like the desired part and allowed to solidify. Once solidified, the ceramic mold is broken away to reveal the final casting.
What is the process accuracy of investment casting?
Investment casting is favored for its ability to produce complex parts with high accuracy. It provides excellent surface finish and allows casting of thin-walled parts, reducing the need for secondary operations.
What is the weight range of castings you can do?
We can do castings from 10g-80kg.
